Description
This Sources Sought Notice is issued under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the US Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District. The Little Rock District, is conducting a market survey and is seeking Set -ASIDE Business concerns for renovation/construction of the ADAL Fitness Center at Goodfellow AFB - San Angelo, TX Construction of a single story addition and alteration of the existing fitness center at Goodfellow AFB, Texas. The facility will consist of approximately 19,106 Square feet of additional space and will alter approximately 3000 Square feet. The facility shall include renovation of existing admin area, locker, shower, exercise, and weight rooms; upgrade HVAC and electrical. Construct new all purpose gym floor, group exercise and cardiovascular rooms, fitness equipment space, required distractive space, and support areas, including all utilities/infrastructure. Expand locker and shower rooms. Resurface outside all-purpose courts. Provide antiterrorism/force protection (AT/FP) measures in accordance with unified facility criteria (UFC). The project will also include minimal vehicle and pedestrian circulation, minimal landscaping, appropriate building and landscaping stand-off distances and other anti-terrorism/force protection measures. Supporting utilities shall include gas, sewer, water, and underground electrical and communication services. Fire protection and alarms systems will be provided throughout the new addition. Demolition and lead-based paint abatement and asbestos for Bldgs. 140. The renovation anticipated to begin Fall 2009 The Little Rock District is encouraging qualified small business participation. Companies should indicate eligibility under the small business programs such as veteran owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, women-owned, and 8(a).
