- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to secure a complete set of services to accomplish stand treatments for a variety of forest health and fuels issues. The work units are spread across the district. (See attached maps) The contractor shall cut, and in some units remove Products other than Logs (POL).The project contains 2 items in 6 work units totaling 424 acres. The contractor shall, considering given resource objectives for the work unit, develop a plan of operations to accomplish these objectives, and organize and direct all of the equipment and personnel needed to fully accomplish the work. The Contractor shall furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, permits, licenses and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-82X9-S-09-0130, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request For Proposal (RFP), resulting in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 115310. The solicitation will be available for downloading on or about May 29, 2009, at the website address: http://www.fbo.gov/. A Pre-Proposal Visit date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information is available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are required to register at the Online Representations and Certifications website (ORCA); registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.bpn.gov.
