- This is not a request for proposals. This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. This notice is to help the USCG in identifying potential sources. After the review of the responses to this announcement, and if the Government still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published in the FEDBIZOPS. Responses to this sources sought are not an adequate response to any future solicitation announcement. Again, this is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. All firms responding to this notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award. All interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this synopsis are NOT a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. The USCG is seeking sources that can perform the following: Modification of Transformer Rectifier PN 684-1009-100 to PN 684-1009-200. The OEM for this part is F2924. The vendor must be OEM certified. The vendor must have access to the CMM and be able to procure the necessary parts and test equipment per the OEM specifications. Responses should include a statement that the vendor does meet the requirements list above. Additionally, the response should include the business size and type. Responses must be received no later than May 29, 2009 at 3 p.m. EST.
