Description
The purpose of this Amendment to Special Notice Number AMDPOL-2009-001 is to change the Primary and Secondary Points of Contact. The Primary Point of Contact is Berkina D. Porter. There is no Secondary Point of Contact. "RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT" Synopsis: RECOVERY ACT SPECIAL NOTICE: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) This is a Notice that the Office of Justice Programs intends to issue a modification to an existing Task Order under Blanket Purchase Agreement Number 2008TO08135 with Circle Solutions. The modification will be awarded in accordance with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) has a requirement for professional consultation, technical services, and materials to support three (3) financial management training seminars to be conducted between June and December 2009 in various locations throughout the United States. The Office of the Chief Financial Officer provides fiscal policy guidance and accounting, budget, financial and grants management, and claims collection services. The OCFO is also responsible for providing financial administration of formula/block grants, discretionary grants, and cooperative agreements awarded from Federal grant-in-aid programs administered by the Bureaus and Offices of OJP and the Department of Justice. The OCFO requires the services of a contractor to assist in coordinating financial management training seminars for grant award recipients. Recovery Act appropriations will be utilized to fund this requirement. The Office of Justice Programs currently has a competitively awarded Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) Number 2008BF08007 with Circle Solutions to provide conference planning and logistical support services. On September 26, 2008, OJP awarded Task Order Number 2008TO08135 against the Circle Solutions BPA to provide logistical support for "2009 Regional Financial Seminars in Washington, DC and 10 States (TBD)". The period of performance of the current task order is September 26, 2008 through September 30, 2009. The proposed modification to the task order will add 3 additional financial management training seminars and extend the period of performance from September 30, 2009 to December 30, 2009.
