- THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL - The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 19 Rocky Mountain Network Contracting Center proposes to enter into a single or multiple award contract(s) to provide traditional medical transcription service. Services shall be for a base period with four one-year pre-priced options for renewal. The solicitation package should be available for download on or about 1 June 2009. This is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS is 561410 and the small business size standard is $7.0 Million. The awarded contractor(s) shall be required to provide all management, personnel, security clearance, space and equipment (supplies, tools, materials, parts, hardware, software and toll-free telephone numbers) for each facility for which services are awarded. The number of lines of transcription per year for all facilities combined is estimated to be approximately 10 million lines. Participating VISN 19 facilities include; VAMC Denver, CO, VAMC Cheyenne, WY; VAMC Sheridan, WY; VAMC Grand Junction, CO; and VAMC Salt Lake City, UT. The following technical factors will be used to evaluate all offers/proposals: technical capability, past performance and price. No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided. All documents will be available in PDF format. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the VISN 19 office.
