- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement for contractor services to collect, classify, and analyze occupational characteristics; job information; and functional limitation information documented in electronic claims of SSA adult title II and title XVI disability claims. Additionally, the contractor will perform a review of claims adjudicated at the initial and hearings levels for claims allowed or denied based on vocational factors at Steps 4 and 5 of the Sequential Evaluation Process. This requirement will be procured using procedures from Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15. SSA anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price (with reimbursable travel) contract with a period of performance of 6 months from the date of award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541720, with a size standard of $7.0 million. Solicitation number SSA-RFP-09-1055, is scheduled for release on or about June 1, 2009, with proposals due 30 calendar days thereafter. The solicitation will be available for downloading from the Federal Procurement website at www.fbo.gov. HARD COPIES OF THE RFP WILL NOT BE MAILED. Telephone requests will not be honored and no bidders list will be maintained. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the FedBizOpps website to check the status of this requirement and to keep current with any amendments that may be issued.
