- This project consists of the repair to generator Unit 11. The work entails (1) moving the generator stator so that it is round and plumb, and aligned into the exact center location relative to the turbine shaft, (2) testing and minor repair to the stator laminations, (3) shrinking the rotor rim onto the rotor spider arms and securing in place, (4) welding cracks in the rotor spider arm, (5) repair of the upper guide bearing and associated vapor ring. Work to be performed is located at Bonneville 2nd Powerhouse on the Columbia River, approximately 40 miles east of Portland, Oregon.
