- Description
- The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Rocky Mountain Region is seeking potential Native American contractors to provide construction and alteration services for the outlet works and downstream toe drains and berm at the Ray Lake Dam on the BIA Wind River Agency, located on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Fort Washakie, Wyoming. This procurement is being enacted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14 Sealed Bidding and FAR Part 36 Construction. The BIA intends on awarding a firm-fixed price construction type contract to a responsible/responsive contractor whose proposal is the most advantageous in terms of cost to the Government. This procurement is set-aside to all 51% Native American owned businesses in accordance with 25 USC 47, the Buy-Indian Act and Department of Interior Acquisition Regulation. Not more than 50% percent of the work to be performed under a prime contract award shall be subcontracted to Non-Indian firms. Any small business concern are encouraged to submit a proposal in the event that a Native American Indian firm is determined non-responsive/non-responsible. It is the contractors responsibility to be familiar with the contents, conditions and site investigation contained in this proposal package. TERO Fees, Performance Bonds, Payment Bonds, Insurance and Other Alternative Payment Protections are required. The estimated procurement range for this requirement is between $1 million and $5 million in combined aggregate.
