- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to produce and stockpile crushed gravel in the locations, quantities, quality, and gradations specified. The work will be performed in two existing quarries located on Forest Service land. The contractor is responsible for removing existing vegetation from the production and stockpile areas as part of the pit development. The disposal method for non-merchantable timber shall be piling or scatter, except for stumps which will be scattered. Work shall be completed by Aug. 30, 2010.The solicitation, AG-82X9-S-09-0146, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request For Proposal (RFP) and will be available for downloading on or about May 29, 2009 at the website address http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The estimated base price is $200,000, in addition to option items totaling $200,000. The solicitation will be restricted to small businesses. The small business size standard for this type of work (NAICS Code 212321). A site visit date will be included in the solicitation All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information are available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are required to register at the Online Representations and Certifications website (ORCA); registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.bpn.gov.
