- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for an EMERGENCY FENCE REPAIR at Schroeder Hall USARC, in Long Beach, CA. The work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to remove the existing damaged fence sections and install seven new panel sections of Ornamental Wrought Iron fencing, including support posts to match existing and one each 4 inch x 4 inch end post to match. All posts shall be concreted 3 feet in the ground. Install one 6 feet by 8 feet panel section in area designated on plans. All welded joints shall be completely ground down until smooth and joints coated with galvanizing primer paint prior to applying final coat of paint to match existing. All operations necessary to accomplish the work will be done in accordance with the project Scope of Work and Drawings. Solicitation number W9124N-09-T-0170 will be available on or about 20 May 2009. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT is scheduled for Wednesday 27 May 2009 at 9:00am (PST). The primary Site Visit POC is Ralph Mendoza, PH: 562-795-2050. Alternate Site Visit POC: Kent Jackson 562-795-2098 or cell 562-235-9967. Only contractors that sign in during the mandatory site visit will be considered for this acquisition. Proposals are due Tuesday, 2 June 2009 at 4:30 pm (PST). This acquisition is a 100 percent set aside for small business concerns only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238990 with a size standard of $14.0M. Performance period is 60 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude for this project is less than $25,000.00. Payment and performance bonds or alternate protection will not be required for this project. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Solicitation number W9124N-09-T-0170 will be available on or about 20 May 2009 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov) and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/).
