- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation and supervision necessary to renovate six barracks buildings at Camp Parks, Dublin, CA 94568. Due to troop usage, only one building will be available at a time for renovation. Renovations include abating asbestos wall material, asbestos roofing material and flooring. Carpentry work includes installing a new roof, blow in insulation to all exterior walls, new doors, frames, ceiling tiles, patching, painting, installing new flooring and restroom fixtures. Provide and install 38 PTAC HVAC units. Update plumbing, install new fire sprinkler system, electrical receptacles, update fire alarm system, provide interior lighting and phone line. All work shall be done in accordance with the Statement of Work included in the upcoming solicitation. The period of performance will be ninety days per building, 540 days total after notice to proceed. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS code, SIC code and size standard for this procurement are 236220/1522, $33,500,000.00. Pursuant to FAR 19.1401, this acquisition is set aside for competition restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit bids. Only one award shall be made. To be eligible for award, bidders must have a current, valid registration with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. The solicitation package, which will be numbered W9124N-09-B-0001 will be available via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi on or about 30 May 2009. All amendments to the solicitation will be posted on the ASFI website. Interested companies are advised to check the website periodically for amendments. The bid opening date has not been established at this time but will be annotated in the final released Invitation for Bid.
