- The VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach California intends to enter into a sole source contract with Olympus Surgical America. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued; a separate written solicitation will NOT be issued. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The North American IndustryClassification System Code (NAICS) is 333314. The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System intends to purchase a compatibility component to theCV-180 EVIS II VIDEO SYSTEM, ENF-VQ Flexible Rhino-Laryngoscope With Full Screen, Hi-res, NBI, IS20090, 19" NDS Radiance Display with HD-SDI, IS40096, N Stream Plus Single Channel DVR w/DICOM 250GB, IS50017, E857247, 15 1528L Medical Grade LCD Monitor, Accutouch, HP-6988 Color DeskJet Printer, MAPC-10 XD PCMCIA Adapter, 202220xD M-2GB Plus PB. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The closing date for this action is 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, May 29, 2009. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document other than this exists and no telephone inquiries shall be accepted.
