- The VA Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach California intends to enter into a sole source contract with Electro Medical Systems (EMS), 11886 Greenville Avenue, Suite # 120, Dallas, Texas 75243. This FEDBIZOP announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued; a separate written solicitation shall NOT be issued. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423450. The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System intends to purchase a (1x) One Swiss Dolorclast Complete System which includes (2x) hand piece,( 1x) Control Unit,(1x) Cart, (2x) operator guide/service manual (3x) Year Extended Warranties. And In-Service Training. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government shall consider all proposals received by 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time Friday, May 29, 2009. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries shall be accepted.
