Description
****The closing date of solicitation SPM4A6-09-R-0093 will be extended via amendment from Friday, May 15th 2009 to Friday, May 22nd 2009.**** PR IQC08297009043: Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) intends to award a contract to provide cylinder and industrial gas support to U.S. Military forces in the CENTCOM region. Request for Proposal SPM4A6-09-R-0093, will be solicited for award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) under FAR 12 and 13.5. The ordering period will include a 1-year base period and four 1-year option periods. Delivery: FOB Origin with Inspection and Acceptance at Origin 30 days ARO. This solicitation will contain multiple NSNs in FSC 6830 (list to be provided upon request). The Government may add NSNs during the contract period. The contractor will be responsible for supplying various types and grades of industrial gases in a variety of cylinder sizes; delivering filled cylinders to the customer’s site or depot; picking up empty cylinders from the customer’s site, as required; maintaining a pool of U.S. Government furnished empty cylinders at the vendor’s site; performing maintenance on empty cylinders, as required; providing reports; and disposing of unserviceable cylinders, as required. This solicitation will be for both customer direct and DLA direct support. TDD standards will apply. The final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, management, and technical evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Formal cost and pricing data is required. Subcontracting plan is required and requires approval by COMPAD. EEO clearance is required. NSNs are not Critical Safety Items. Solicitation does not contain progress payments. The estimated solicitation issue date is 02 February 2009. Solicitation closing date is 06 March 2009.
