- RECOVERY- this "Sources Sought" notice is a search for contractors to perform lock replacement at Lake Sonoma/ Warm Springs Dam using Stimulus Funds. The buildings and facilities at Lake Sonoma, located in Geyserville, CA, are fitted with locks and hardware whose design is such that "locks" can be changed by changing a single interchangeable "core." The proposed lock replacement will include all areas where locks are currently present. This includes but is not limited to: Park Headquarters, Visitor Center, Fish Hatchery, Dam and related facilities, Recreation Areas, and some remote areas. The Contractor shall replace hardware in areas where hardware has already been identified as malfunctioning, needing replacement or repair due to wear & tear, or damage. The main areas of hardware replacement will be the Visitor Center and Fish Hatchery entry/ exit doors. The Contractor is expected to replace some current panic bar mechanisms on these doors. This project will be a Firm Fixed Price procurement. For those contractors interested in this project, the Army Corps of Engineers, SF District (USACE) will be hosting a site visit at Lake Sonoma with Nicole Davidson on Tuesday May 26, 2009 at 10am.
