- The government intends to award a sole source delivery order to Micro Systems Inc. (MSI) for engineering support for the System for Naval Target Control (SNTC). It is anticipated that the resultant delivery order shall be on a Cost Plus Fixed Fee(CPFF) basis for the procurement of this document. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for information purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). MSI is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of SNTC and as such is the only known source available with the requisite technical knowledge, experience and tooling to produce the requirements described herein, in order to satisfy the governments requirement. There are no commitments by the government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. No telephone responses will be accepted.
