- TAS::57 3404::TAS ARRA XUMU 09-1176B, Repair Ladies Restroom, Bldg 9320, fully funded by Recovery Act. Work efforts for this project will consist of the complete renovation of one Woman's Restroom located in Facility 9320, and construction will include demolition of the existing restrooms taking it down to bare existing wood framing walls and ceilings, removing all plumbing, electrical fixtures, along with smoke and fire alarm devices. Contractor will submit an approved abatement plan before work is to commence. Contractor will re-locate the existing plumbing, which will accommodate the new placement of the sinks as well as any requirements, patching the concrete with 3000 psi. Once all rough-in work for Electrical, Plumbing has been accomplished, walls and ceiling will receive 5/8" fire core drywall taped, and sprayed with a light orange peel texture where exposed. All exposed walls and ceilings will have a three coat painting system applied. New door frame will be painted 16 gage hollow metal, with solid core clear stain grade Birch door 3'x 6'8" having Dorma Closer Push/Pull Plates, Hager 190S, 10"x34" Kick Plate, Hager, 236w Wall Stop, Pemko, PK55D17 Seals. New custom counter top/cabinet constructed out of Standard Plastic Laminate Colors, having 3" waterfall front edge, 4" coved back splash also with waterfall edge, and plumbing will be concealed within the base cabinet. Contractor will install a total of (4) 2'x2' ceiling recessed lights, having the one fixture located at the entry equipped with Emergency ballast. Lighting over the new cabinet will receive can lighting, along with the installation of one GFI receptacle outlet. Contractor will remove the existing Fire Detection system, and install new devices per local fire code requirements. One new 150 CFM "Broan" exhaust fan will be installed along with the new lighting.
