- USDA, Forest Service, Monongahela National Forest, Webster County, WV, has a requirement for stabilization of an eroding streambank to reduce erosion siltation of the streambed and prevent damage to the asphalt pavement. The work includes providing all labor, equipment, materials and mobilization necessary to repair sections of Forest Road 86 – Williams River Road, by placing aggregate stone, riprap and geotextile to stabilize the stream bank in accordance with the schedule of items and specifications contained in the solicitation. All solicitation documents will be available from Federal Business Opportunities website: www.fbo.gov on or about 5/28/09. Successful quoters are required to be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before award can be made. You may register at the CCR website: www.ccr.gov. The solicitation will be issued 100% set-aside for small business. The requirement will be awarded as a fixed price contract and a single award is anticipated. The Solicitation number is AG-3434-S-09-0004, NAICS code is 237990 and the small business size standard is $33.5 Million. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to Davis Bacon wage rates. Current wage determination is WV080001, WV 1, Rev. 03/06/2009. Successful offeror will be required to submit a 100% payment bond upon award. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
