- Description
- The 11th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for rental of a concert hall. The USAF Band will conduct a broadcast taping session in front of live audience for release to public television stations nationwide. This will be an unrestricted requirement. A sole-source, firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. It is intended that this requirement will be awarded to the Strathmore Hall Foundation, 5301 Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda, MD 20852. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 711310 with a size standard of $6,500,000. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 7922. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Bolling AFB will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine that a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning CCR registered requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling the CCR Registration Center at 1-888-227-2423. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information. All documents submitted will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating the capabilities to satisfy the requirement described above to Mr Lawrence C. Carter via email at lawrence.carter.ctr@afncr.af.mil, or fax to (202) 767-7887, or by mail at the following address: 11th Contracting Squadron, 20 MacDill Blvd, Suite 400, Bolling AFB, DC 20032-0101. The Capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail rental concert hall that will demonstrate the ability to support this requirement.
