- This project shall involve the disruption of an existing fire protection booster pump system to correct several deficiencies. Work shall be done while the building remains in use and during times of occupancy. This disruption in service must be coordinated with the local fire department to ensure adequate fire protection coverage. Work shall require the contractor to procure materials and equipment then install and operationally tests the system. Major equipment to be procured are valves (backflow preventer and pressure reducing), fire jockey pump and controller, alarm cabling, electrical cabling, and piping.
