- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration is issuing an amendment to the Screening Information Request (SIR) released on April 22, 2009 for the Navigation Technical Assistance Contract (NAVTAC) procurement. The FAA will conduct a two-phase source selection process. A Downselect decision will be made at the end of Phase I based on those proposals deemed most likely to receive contract award. The Government reserves the right to downselect any offeror during Phase II if it is apparent that the offeror is not likely to receive the award. The anticipated award date is December 2009. This amendment defines and clearly establishes the FAA's Small Business and Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting Plan and Goals for this procurement. SUBCONTRACTING/TEAMING OPPORTUNITIES A publicly available list of interested parties was released on April 22, 2009. The list contains company names, addresses, points of contact, telephone numbers, and email address of vendors responding to the market survey posted on April 2, 2008 (#6564) and they may be contacted by other interested parties. The purpose of the list is to facilitate and encourage small business to seek subcontracting opportunities with potential FAA contractors. The FAA is not in any way endorsing or recommending any company on the list. This list is no guarantee that the vendor will be notified of any information that will be posted on the FAA Contract opportunities web page. See the attached revised Section B (Table of Contents Only), Section I, Section L, and Section M. In addition, page J-51 is re-issued for clarity. The submission date for this SIR is extended to 2:00pm Friday 12 June 2009 Eastern Daylight Time (EDT.)
