- RECOVERY: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE TO REPLACE BRICK PAVERS WITH CONCRETE AT QUANTICO NATIONAL CEMETERY LOCATED IN PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY IN TRIANGLE, VIRGINIA.This project is funded form the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, is soliciting bids under Solicitation Number VA-786A-09-RA-0043 for the following:Contractor shall provide all professional services, labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to replace brick pavers with concrete around Committal Shelters A and B, Administration Building and the Public Restroom area. Work includes, but not limited to, the following: demolish affected areas; remove and dispose of existing brick pavers; remove grading material under brick pavers; concrete and base material to be in accordance with VDOT specifications; compact sub-grade and install soil separator fabric beneath 4" aggregate sub-base; install broomed finish new (3,000 psi) concrete sidewalk (9,467 sq. ft.) with 4" depth; install control joint every 25 sq. ft. and expansion joint every 250 sq. ft. where applicable; new concrete surface shall be pitched to drain and finished to prevent ponding on smooth areas.COST MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.CONTRACT DURATION: The performance period is approximately 60 calendar days from date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed.NAICS: 238110 SIZE STANDARD: $14 millionMETHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-PRICE SERVICE CONTRACT UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED (SDVOSB) SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 14 to a responsible SDVOSB responding to this solicitation.OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIALS: Solicitation material consisting of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) details and specifications may be accessed ONLY via FedBizzOpps at http://www.fedbizzops.gov.
