- Sole-Source Announcement VA-261-09-RQ-0165Classification: 65- Medical Equipment and SuppliesNAICS: 541712Pursuant to the authority cited in FAR Part 6.302-1 (a) and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) the Sierra Pacific Network Consolidated Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source lease with Tissue Growth Technologies (TGT) for the following medical equipment to be located at VA Palo Alto Medical Center (VISN 21). Bioreactor L30-4C Chamber with Stimulator and modified Bioreactor L30-1C Chamber and Accessories for human size tendon research. The Government has determined that this is the only responsible source and no other equipment will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation package will be made available. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
