- Description
- This procurement is for the identification, removal, and abatement of hazardous materials remaining in the Smithsonian Institution's Arts and Industries Building and selective interior demolition of non-historic and no-structural interior construction. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 562211, and the annual size standard is $11.5 million. The estimated price range for this requirement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. It is the Smithsonian's intent to solicit this project as Full and Open Competition to all responsible business concerns. Offerors will be required to submit a comprehensive technical proposal and pricing proposal. Technical and price proposals will be evaluated in accordance with instructions and evaluation criteria provided in the solicitation documents. This Acquisition will be subject to the availability of funds. The Solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about May 5, 2009 with anticipated closing date 30 days thereafter. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr2000.com, or 1-888-CCR-2423. Copies of Request for Proposal, specifications, drawings and all attachments can be obtained at http://www.fedbizops.gov once available for issuance.
