- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into a sole source agreement on a non-competitve basis with Northrop Grumman Corporation Bethpage, NY to procure updates to the drawing and maintenance plans for the Radar Test Bench, Part Number 123SAV50000-27. The Government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the technical data for this proposed acquisition requirement as Northrop Grumman Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the Radar Test Bench and therefore holds all proprietary data. NGC is the only known firm possessing the knowledge, experience and technical expertise necessary to fulfill the Navy's full requirement. However, all responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Resposnes must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice. See note 22.
