- RECOVERY THIS POSTING REPLACES PREVIOUS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ADVERTISED UNDER 601819Q215. THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS ADVERTISED UNDER FULL AND OPEN PROCEDURES. THE UPCOMING ACQUISITION WILL FALL UNDER THE COMPETITIVE DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM USING NAICS 237310, HIGHWAY, STREET, AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION, WITH A SIZE STANDARD OF $33.5M. This project includes providing all materials, equipment, and labor required to place concrete pavement as per drawings and specifications that will be attached to the upcoming solicitation. The work includes demolition, excavation, backfilling, and paving at Quivira National Wildlife Refuge for a) Roadway pavement at Unit 25 Spillway and b) Roadway pavement at Unit 26 Spillway. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the work area in order to examine the existing site conditions by making arrangements with the Project Leader. Site Visit information will be listed in the solicitation. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total performance is 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on or about 12 May 2009 with an anticipated closing date of 1 June 2009. This acquisition is subject to availability of funds. Copies of the solicitation, specifications, and drawings can be obtained at http://www.fedbizopps.gov once available for issuance.
