Description
RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTORS LISTED UNDER EXISTING GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (GSA) FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE CONTRACTS LISTED WITHIN GSA'S e-BUY SYSTEM. GSA's e-Buy system is an electronic Request for Quote (RFQ) / Request for Proposal (RFP) system designed to allow Federal buyers to request information, find sources, and prepare RFQs/RFPs, online, for millions of services and products offered through GSA's Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) and GSA Technology Contracts. These contracts were awarded utilizing competitive procedures with the use of best value selection procedures and allow for placement of multiple task or delivery orders by Federal Agencies. This is not a solicitation. The full solicitation package inclusive of specifications will be available only by accessing GSA's e-Buy system under RFQ ID362372. The posting will occur May 11, 2009 and will be open for competitive pricing through May 21, 2009 at 2:00pm AKDT. The requirement is being advertised under GSA FSC's 54 - Pre-Engineered/Prefabricated Buildings and Structures, and 56 - Building and Building Materials/Industrial Services and Supplies. Categories are 361 10A - Pre-Engineered and Prefabricated Buildings and Structures for Storage Solutions, and 361-32 - Installation and Site Preparation for Pre-Engineered/Prefabricated Buildings and Structures. PROJECT INFORMATION: The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 7, Alaska has a requirement to replace a hazardous materials storage building located on the Kenai National Refuge Headquarters compound in Soldotna, Alaska. Work under the resultant delivery order, if awarded, shall include providing a pre-fabricated flame resistant hazardous materials storage building, installation of a concrete foundation of suitable size to secure the building, and connection of the building to utilities for lighting. The awarded contractor shall be required to provide all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to provide, transport, deliver, and install a 600 square foot prefabricated secondary containment hazardous material storage building with three compartments. Approximate compartment sizes: compartment 1 - 300 square feet, Compartment 2 - 230 square feet, Compartment 3 - 70 square feet. The contemplated task order will be firm fixed-price against an existing GSA schedule contract. Award is contingient upon the receipient's meeting the requirements of Section 1512 of the Recovery Act.
