- Note: All responses to this IFB shall be mailed to Western AreaPowerAdministration, P.O. Box 6457, Phoenix, AZ 85005-6457. Physical addressforhand carried bids: Western Area Power Administration, 615 S. 43rd Ave,Phoenix, AZ 85009.Western Area power Administration, Desert South West Region, has aconstructionproject which consists of furnishing all necessary labor, supervision,materials, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipmentnecessary in the construction project to install 4.8 miles of OpticaloverheadGround Wire on existing ELV-HUR towers. All work shall be in strictcompliancewith the specifications and drawings. The project magnitude is estimatedbetween $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Place of performance is SacramentoCounty, CA 95626. The acquisition is subject to the North AmericanIndustryClassification System (NAICS) code of 237130 with a size standard of $33.5million. The solicitation, specifications and drawings, and any subsequentamendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable fromtheinternet free of charge. No CD-ROMS or hardcopy documents will bedistributed. Interested parties can download the solicitation athttp://e-center.doe.gov or http://www.fbo.gov on or about June 16, 2009 andtheprojected bid opening date is July 16, 2009. A firm-fixed price contractaward is contemplated with an estimated completion date within 120 calendardays from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
