Description
This Public Announcement is being issued IAW the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.2.4. The FAA intends to release a Screening Information Request(SIR)for support services as a Total Small Business Set Aside by close of business on 05/11/2009 under SIR number DTFAWA-09-R-00003. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is: 541611 with a size standard of $7.0 In order to be considered, current registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database (www.ccr.gov) is required and submittal of the firm's Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Certification Letter and Business Declaration Form. A Capability Statement identifying (1) the type of services provided by the firm and the size and type of services provided by previous contracts (2) the geographical areas your firm can provide services and (3) expected programmatic approach i.e., in-house, teaming, subcontracting etc). The requirement is a result in a demand for contract support services to include program analysis, program management, technical, analytical, budget, training and administrative skills to support business, acquisition, budget and training areas of responsibility. There is a need for experienced professional services of a Contractor to support functions specific to the four Air Traffic Organization (ATO)Offices listed in the upcoming SIR. The proposed support is to provide the specialized skills required to aid the Organization in its relationships and interactions with and support to service units and service centers. As changing requirements occur, the Contractor is to adapt and provide people with the appropriate qualifications to accommodate such transitions. This Public Announcement is for Informational Purposes Only. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
