- Canada intends to invite bids on the design and construction of four 100-person accommodation blocks at Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan, with the option to construct an additional four 100-person accommodation blocks within the next 12 months of the contract award. Canada is serving as the NATO contracting agency for this project, which is being funded within the framework of the Infrastructure Committee. Canada has been authorized to use the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedure.
