- Description
- The Directorate of Contracting at Fort Carson intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance at Fort Carson Army Installation and Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site, Colorado. The result of this RFP will be a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) construction contract with an anticipated award date of July 2009. The Government intends to award a minimum of two contracts. The anticipated issuance date for this RFP is on or about 26 May 2009. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The period of performance is estimated to be a base period of one year from the date of award with a possibility of three one year option periods. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $5 million and $10 million. The requirement is 100% set-aside for Certified 8(a) Business Concerns. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237990 with a size standard of $33.5M. The majority of this work is considered construction work and Davis-Bacon requirements will apply. The successful contractor(s) will be required to provide 100% performance and payment bonds at the delivery order level. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov and the Army Acquisition Business Website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. Interested offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and any amendments. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database or their proposal will not be considered. Contractors can obtain further information on the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. Prospective offerors who would like their company name included on the Bidders Mailing List may do so on the FBO website under the Interested Vendors List tab.
