- W904K190996002- Rental of 60-70 KVA Generators and Power Distribution Boxes Dates needed- 15 May 2009 to 15 September 2009 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and FAR FAC 2001-24. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-25. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code 532490 applies to this solicitation. The size standard is $7,000,000 annual. Description of items: 1 Mobile Diesel Generators 60-70 KVA Diesel Generators, QTY- 4 each Period of Performance: 15 MAY 2009 to 15 SEPTEMBER 2009 or as specified in the award. Diesel Only. Minimum - 56kw Prime Kilowatts, Voltage Regulation, 40 gallon fuel tank, mobile. Contractor will be responsible for providing routine maintenance including oil changes, mechanical failures, and inspections. All maintenance will be as in accordance with manufactured recommended scheduled maintenance and service for the generators. The Government will provide diesel (commercial variety) for the generators required for operation. The Contractor shall provide maintenance/repair of generators and distribution system within 4 hours of notification of mechanical failure. Contractor will provide on call service technician 24/7 and provide a replacement within 24 hours should mechanical problem arise that cannot be fixed on site by technician at no extra charge to the customer. The generator will be operated 24 hrs a day. The vendor is responsible to maintain this generator and Power Distribution System through entire period of performance. Place of Performance: Fort Bliss, TX 2 Power Distribution Box Power Distribution/GFI Tempower Box, QTY 4 each Period of Performance: 15 MAY 2009 to 15 SEPTEMBER 2009 or as specified in the award. ETL listed for outdoor use/Weatherproof rating. 50A twist-lock inlet and outlet 125/250v. Circuit Breaker protected NEMA L6-30R 30A 250V outlet. 6 20A outlets individually GCFI protected. The Contractor shall provide maintenance/repair of power distribution box within 4 hours of notification of mechanical failure. The generator and power distribution box will be operated 24 hrs a day. The vendor is responsible to maintain this generator and Power Distribution System through entire period of performance. 3-Temporary Power Cords QTY 8 each Period of Performance: 15 MAY 2009 to 15 SEPTEMBER 2009 or as specified in the award. 50 600v SEOW cable. Weather Resistant for outdoor use. 4 Delivery Charges- Deliver to Fort Bliss, TX 79916 Period of Performance: 15 MAY 2009 to 15 SEPTEMBER 2009 or as specified in the award. 5 Pickup Charges-Pickup from Fort Bliss, TX 79916 Period of Performance: 15 MAY 2009 to 15 SEPTEMBER 2009 or as specified in the award. The following clauses and conditions apply to this contract. Contractors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award. Register at www.ccr.gov. The vendor must be ORCA certified at https://orca.bpn.gov//. Award will be made to the lowest offeror whose services meet the Governments minimum needs.
