- RECOVERY - A MARKET SURVEY is being conducted to determine the interest and capability of HUBZone Small Business contractors for the following proposed project: Install intelligent parking lot controllers on 4,450 headbolt outlets (HBOs) in parking lots throughout Fort Wainwright, Alaska and replace lighting in vehicle maintenance facility of building 3015 on Fort Wainwright with fluorescent lights and fixtures with motion sensors. This project is funded by the American Recovery and Re-Investment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act) and will be subject to the reporting requirements of the Recovery Act. Contract duration will be approximately 400 days and the estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS is 238210. Size limitation is $14M. All interested HUBZone small business concerns should notify this office in writing by mail on or before 22 May 2009, 2:00 pm, Alaska Time. Responses should include: (1) Identification and verification that the company is certified by the Small Business Administration as a HUBZone contractor; (2) Past Experience - Provide descriptions of projects substantially complete or completed within the last five years which are similar to this project in size, scope, and dollar value. With each project experience provided, include the date when the project was completed or will be complete, location of the project, contract amount and size of the project and the portion and percentage of work that was self performed; and (3) A statement of which portion of the work that will be self performed and how it will be accomplished.
