Solicitation Number: HM0176-09-T-0001 Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: Sources Sought/Request for Information: THIS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is seeking market research and information for an upcoming solicitation and potential award of a single source Health Care Provider (HCP) for medical services contract. The HCP contractor will establish a fully operational health care clinic in the East at its new location in Springfield, Virginia and to administer and staff the existing East Medical Operations located in Bethesda, Maryland, Washington Navy Yard, DC, and Reston, Virginia. A single source HCP is critical to ensure current health care services are un-interrupted as services are transitioned to the New Campus East (NCE) in Springfield, Virginia. The required services and staffing will vary between locations and, as facilities are closed, will transition into a fully operational clinic in Springfield, Virginia. The clinic shall provide urgent care for all personnel located on site as deployment and travel medicine support, perform occupational health services and health and wellness screening, support a health education program, and lead the flu shot program. The attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) delineates the full scope of the requirements. The purpose of this announcement is to conduct market research to determine the availability, interest and capability of sources to perform the requirement described in the attaché Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) entitled “NGA East Health Care Services”, dated XX May 2009. The NAICS code for this requirement is 923120 (Administration of Public Health Programs). The Government requests interested parties submit a brief statement of current capability to perform these services and a letter of interest. Interested and qualified sources should provide the following information listed below: (1) Company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size to include identification as a Small Business, Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Business, HubZone Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, (2) Are you interested as a prime or subcontractor? (3) Can you perform the entire requirement? If not, what portion could be provided by small businesses? (4) Are you a protégé under the DoD/NGA Mentor-Protégé Program? If so, please provide the mentor name. (5) Are you aware of FAR Part 52.219-14, Limitation on Subcontracting? (6) Evidence of qualifications and capabilities to meet the requirements of the PWS (7) A list of your most recent and relevant DoD or commercial contracts (not to exceed ten) to include brief description, names, POCs, phone numbers, value and type of contract, and period of performance; (8) Information about your company and why you think you can perform this service. (9) Please limit your submissions to ten pages. This notice is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid, a Request for Proposal, Solicitation, Request for Quote, or an indication that the Government will contract for the services contained herein. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract nor does responding to this announcement is not a promise of future business with NGA. The Government does not intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice; therefore, any costs associated with this market survey request will be solely at the vendor’s expense.
