- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic,Charleston, SC intends to award a sole source contract to Harris Corporation,1680 University Ave, Rochester, NY 14610-1839, for the delivery of 140 eachRF-5710 MODEM FULL FEATURE, P/N RF-5710A-MD001 and 30 each RF-5710RACK MOUNT KIT, P/N RF-5710A-RM001. The RF-5710A modem is currently apart of the TacMobile architecture and will be required for use in an interfacewith the Tactical Support Communication (TSCOMM). The TacMobile Roadmap requires convergence and commonality of allequipment between TSCOMM's and the Mobile Operations Control Center(MOCC) to support future Tactical Operations Center (TOC) and manningrequirements. Part of this requirement includes providing common highfrequency modems between all platforms. The RF-5710A modem is the onlymodem that will meet the current configuration management requirements(i.e., established TacMobile group design plans, documentation, and training). A commercial, firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery type contract isanticipated.The period of performance is expected to be a base year and one option year.The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is334210, and the size standard is 1,000 employees.
