- Description
- RECOVERY - Provide all plant, labor and material for the construction of the Edinburg Pump Levee and Channel Crossing, lower Rio Grande, Hidalgo County in Texas. This.2 mile levee reach has an estimated magnitude between $5 million and $10 million. This is a 100% small business set-aside under the applicable NAICS Code. Performance period is 400 calendar days. Work consists of providing a continuation of the protective levee and protection to a historic Penitas Pump house from seasonal high flood waters. Provide a levee crossing of the intake channel, provide multiple aligned culverts. Work includes benched excavation; placement of embankment; placement of topsoil and riprap; and seeding of disturbed areas. Solicitation, plans and specifications will be posted on or before Aug 05, 2009. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
