- Description
- RECOVERY - Provide all plant, labor and material for the construction of the North Floodway Levees Phases 1 and 2 from FM1015 to H/C County line Texas. This 14.1 mile levee reach has an estimated magnitude between $10 million and $15 million. This is a 100% small business set-aside under the applicable NAICS Code 237990. Performance period is 367 calendar days. Work consists of preparation of removal and stockpiling, if suitable for reuse, of gravel/topsoil/caliche or riprap; removal of existing pavements and structures; clearing and grubbing, installation and maintenance of erosion control measures; silt fencing; construction entrances and exits. Work includes benched excavation; placement of embankment; placement of topsoil and riprap; and seeding of disturbed areas. Solicitation, plans and specifications will be posted on or before June 2, 2009. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
