- AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT PROJECT The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services Office (CGS) in Portland, Oregon has a requirement at the Regional Office in Portland, Oregon (Multnomah County) for one Engineering Project Manager (base year with two one year option periods) to support the Region 1 and 8 Division of Engineering to assist the Engineering staff in managing design and construction projects related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Duties will be similar to a Government Engineer or Project Manager performing duties comparable to that of a Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) or Contracting Officer Representative (COR) with responsibility for management and oversight of projects performed by private-sector architect/engineering firms and construction contractors. NOTE: As outlined in FAR 7.503-Policy all inherently government functions shall be conducted by Division of Engineering staff (Federal Employees) only. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about May 13, 2009. The closing date of the solicitation has not yet been determined. All evaluation criteria will be clearly stated in the solicitation.
