- RECOVERY -- This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, has a requirement for Pinto Dam Outlet Works Repair and Brook Lake Measurement Weir Construction, Columbia Basin Project, Washington. Pinto Dam is located approximately 2.5 miles northeast of Stratford, Washington, in Grant County. Principal components of the work include: control of water for foundations; backfill and compaction about structures; channel reshaping; constructing embankment; furnishing and placing riprap and gravel bedding; furnishing and placing pipe drains; furnishing and placing cast-in-place concrete for the Pinto Dam stilling basin and the Brook Lake measurement weir; and seeding areas disturbed by construction. Permits and the cultural resources 106 compliance consult are in various stages of being obtained which has the potential to affect the Bureau of Reclamation's ability to award the Pinto Dam Outlet Works Repair and Brook Lake Measurement Weir contract. Reclamation is working to obtain the required permits and 106 compliance consult so that this contract may proceed on schedule. Reclamation will not award a contract unless we receive all the permits and the 106 compliance consult. This requirement will be issued as full and open competition and will be a sealed bid procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 and the size standard is $33.5 million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three 1-year accounting periods. The estimated price range of the work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be available APPROXIMATELY June 16, 2009, at www.fedbizopps.gov. Prospective offerors must be registered in CCR prior to receiving award of any contract - see www.ccr.gov. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public.
