- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, RI is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract for five (5) Aft Cover Assemblies, P/N: 2272343-1, ten (10) CCA Upper Rings, P/N: JCM-14049-003, and ten (10) CCA Lower Rings, P/N: JCM-14050-003 in accordance with Government drawings. The drawings will not be posted on our website due to the restricted distribution statements. In order to receive a copy of the drawings, your company must be certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP). Send an email request for the drawings to Andrew Josephs at andrew.j.josephs@navy.mil or Lori Rosario at lori.rosario@navy.mil citing RFQ N66604-09-Q-3427, and include your company name, address, JCP and CAGE code number, telephone number, and point of contact. CD-ROMs will be sent once JCP registration is confirmed. This acquisition is anticipated to be set aside for Small Businesses. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 332710!, size standard is 500 employees. The anticipated posting date of solicitation N66604-09-Q-3427 is on or about 21 May 2009 with a closing date or on about 8 June 2009. All responsible sources may submit a proposal or quotation. Products to be delivered 90 days after date of contract FOB: Destination Newport, RI. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO website. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments.
