- Description
- Andersen AFB, GU has a requirement in accordance with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act), Pub.L. 111-5. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, quality control and supervision necessary to complete repair of water lines from wells 5-9 to Santa Rosa Tank, repair Santa Rosa Water Tank, construct by-pass water line at Santa Rosa Tank, and repair water line from Santa Rosa Tank to the back gate of Andersen AFB. The work to be performed in connection to this project includes but is not limited to: a) providing design/build working drawings and as-built drawing submittals for construction, installation, and maintenance purposes, b) installing new PVC water lines, c) replacing tank gauges, valves, hydrants, vents, air relief bleed off and other appurtenances as required by all applicable codes, d)cleaning interior of tank, e) repairing of tank interior wall), f) restoring damaged areas in conjunction with the project, and g) all other work indicated in the specifications and shown on drawings and/or miscellaneous incidental work not shown that may be required to complete the project, including clean up and disposal of debris. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 237110 with a Size Standard of $33.5 M. We contemplate awarding a Firm-Fixed Price contract. Contract award would be based on Best Value using Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT) procedures. This requirement is 100% set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns program. A pre-proposal conference and site visit is tentatively scheduled for 11 May 2009. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 in accordance with FAR 36.204 (h). Interested firms must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be awarded any Federal contracts. All interested parties should register online and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation. Prospective contractors are responsible to visit the site periodically for any changes/updates to the solicitation that may occur, as no paper copies would be issued.
