- STANCHION REPAIRS: GS-11P-09-YM-C-0108 THIS CONTRACT WILL BE OPEN TO SMALL AND LARGE BUSINESS CONCERNS UNDER THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. (FAR 52.219.-19). THIS ACQUISITION DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY BUNDLING. THERE WILL BE A WALK THROUGH AT THE WEST HEATING PLANT WHICH IS LOCATED AT 1051 29TH STREET N.W. WASHINGTON, DC 20007 AT 10:00AM ON MAY 12, 2009. NO OTHER TOURS WILL BE GIVING SO ITS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU BE PROMPT. The Contractor shall furnish all of the necessary equipment, labor, supplies, and supervision to repair, refurbish, remove, inspect, and replace stanchions and anchors utilized within the steam distribution system. to maintain the steam distribution infrastructure. The areas that display immediate concern are within the tunnel areas of 6th Street (from E Street continuing through Indiana and finishing at Constitution Avnue) and along C Street NW (from 17th to 21st Street). A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded as result of this solicitation, using source selection competitive pricing procedures by sealed bidding. The award of the project will be made based on the lowest price with consideration to technical acceptability and previous experience. The NAICS Code is 238120 and this procurement is open to both large and small businesses concerns under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (FAR 52.219-19). The small business size standard is $14,000,000.00. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 14, 2009 and the proposal due date will be on/about June 25, 2009.
