- Department of the Treasury - FMS, has a requirement to obtain additional disk storage and upgraded software licenses for the IBM DS8100-931 storage unit that is in currently installed at the Hyattsville Regional Operations Center. The storage unit supports both mainframe and mid-tier application servers and the upgrade is needed in support of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. Through market research efforts, FMS has determined that this requirement can satisfied by resellers authorized by IBM. Small Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSBs) are being sought for this effort. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER GSA Schedule 70. Quotes will ONLY be accepted through the E-Buy system via the GSAdvantage site. Offerors must be GSA Schedule Holders in order to submit a quote. The request for quotation (RFQ) will be available on E-Buy by May 6, 2009 and close on or about May 13, 2009. A delivery order will be awarded under the successful offeror's schedule. All questions regarding this effort must be submitted in writing to: darnese.wilkerson@FMS.Treas.Gov. All questions regarding this quotation are due to the Contracting Officer no later than May 8, 2009 by 12 noon EST.
