It is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Further, the FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition to service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. Respondents must provide their strategy for accomplishing this work, including the percentage of work that will be done by eligible small, service-disabled veteran-owned and 8(a) certified businesses. The FAA will not pay for any costs associated with the preparation of responses or information provided in response to the Market Survey, nor reimburse or otherwise pay any costs incurred by any party responding to this announcement. Therefore, any costs associated with the Market Survey submission are solely at the interested parties' expense. Any information provided under this request for information is for informational purposes only and will not be released to the public. Any proprietary information submitted must be adequately marked as proprietary and will be protected accordingly. The interested vendor's response must be submitted no later than 2:00 P.M. local time on May 19, 2009. All responses to this Market Survey must be in writing, on company letterhead, and must demonstrate that the company can meet the support requirements. A listing of equipment and locations is contained in the attached draft Statement of Work. Limit responses to 5 pages and include a Business Declaration Form (Attached).
