Description

PWS Under the Authority of Federal Acquisitions Regulation, Part 6, Subparts 6.301 and 6.302, The U.S. Census Bureau intends to contract with Jana Asher, Takoma Park, MD, on a sole source basis to provide statistical support to conduct a feasibility study to assess the use of administrative records in a multiple-systems estimation model to augment census coverage measurement for future decennial censuses, per the attached statement of work. The US Census Bureau believes Ms. Asher's institutional knowledge, experience, and skills make her uniquely qualified to complete the required services. The period of performance for this award will be from date of award through September 30, 2009. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advanteageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capavilities, pricing, and other inforamtion that demonstrates their ability to meet the Census Bureau's needs. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to Lisa Safewright via email lisa.r.safewright@census.gov, or fax to 301-763-4624. This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comarable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received within 15 days from the publication of this synopsis, a contract may be issued to Jana Asher, without further notice.
