- W904K190996003- Rental of 24 Refer Trucks Dates needed- 1 June 2009 to 1 July 2009 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-25. This is totally set aside for small businesses. Contractors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award. Register at www.ccr.gov. The vendor must be ORCA certified at https://orca.bpn.gov/. Applicable NAICS code is 532120. See below for description of services requested. Award will be made to the lowest offeror whose services meet the Governments minimum needs. Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items applies to this acquisition, 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items is applicable to include: 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests, and 252.247.7023 w/ Alt III Transportation of Supplies by Sea. Description of items: 24 Diesel Reefer Truck, QTY- 1 each Dates of service for rental tent needed: 1 JUNE 2009 to 1 JULY 2009 Diesel Only Contractor will be responsible for providing routine maintenance including oil changes, mechanical failures, and refrigeration inspections. All maintenance will be as in accordance with manufactured recommended scheduled maintenance and service for the vehicle. Contractor will provide on call service technician 24/7 and will respond within 4 hours of call to the location of the truck. Contractor will provide a replacement truck within 24 hours should mechanical problem arise that cannot be fixed on site by technician at no extra charge to the customer. Minimum Size is 24. Air Conditioning Required. 2 to 3 Passenger Capacity. Transmission - Automatic **The following must be furnished with the quotation: 1. Complete descriptive literature for the items proposed; items must be equivalent to the specifications; 2. Prompt payment terms; 3. Completed copy of provision at DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. Quotes shall be faxed or emailed to the attention of Dawn Montgomery at 915-568-0836,dawn.montgomery@us.army.mil, no later than 12:00 PM MDT on 15 May 2009. Deliver to: Contractor is to deliver this truck to BLDG 2442 by 1 June 2009 and pick up by 1 July 2009 or as specified in the award. Contractor is to have all fluids in the truck upon delivery. Customer will be responsible for fuel during leased period of performance.
