- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION; IT IS STRICTLY A REQUEST FOR COMMENTS ON A DRAFT RFP FOR A FOLLOW-ON CONTRACT. The Department of Defense, TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) is hereby issuing a Request for Information (RFI) in order to solicit industry input with regards to its draft RFP for the TRICARE Dental Program (TDP) for a follow-on contract to one currently performed by United Concordia Companies, Inc. (H94002-05-D-0001). The draft TDP RFP provides for a voluntary, group indemnity dental insurance plan for all eligible family members of Uniformed Service active duty, members of the Selected Reserve and Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) and their eligible family members. Services required include, but are not limited to, underwriting, marketing, eligibility verification and enrollment, premium collection, provider credentialing, claim adjudication and payment, beneficiary and provider services, and the processing of appeals and grievances.
