Description
FOR TECHNICAL QUESTIONS PLEASE CONTACT Thomas Ganter at Thomas.Ganter@us.army.mil DESC The U.S. Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC), Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (IEW&S) Directorate intends to negotiate and award a performance-based sole source service contract with FLIR Systems, Inc. citing Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) part 6 subpart 6.302-1. The work to be done under this contract consists of repairing Ranger 3XR Thermal Camera. FLIR Systems, Inc. is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the Ranger 3XR Thermal Camera. FLIR Systems, Inc. is the only source with the required knowledge, skills, experience, corporate knowledge and expertise, and technical data to perform the required repair effort. To the best of the Government's knowledge, there are not any other companies that can satisfy this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that determines it can meet the requirements may give written notice to Thomas Ganter at Thomas.Ganter@us.army.mil within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of publication of this market survey. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. A determination by the Government not to open competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
