- NSN 1095-00-391-1056 – knife, being bought in accordance with drawing (53711) 5830050 and all related data. The total quantity required is 2,599 each to be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5000. There is also a 100% option for up to 2,599 each that may or may not be exercised. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 5/20/2009; hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical drawings/bid sets are available after the same issue date on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The small business size standard is 500 employees. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance. The required delivery is 2,599 each in 90 days. Based on market research this item is a commercial item and will be solicited using FAR Part 12. This solicitation document contains information that has been designated as “Military Critical Technical Data.” Only businesses that have been certified by the DOD, US/Canada Joint Certification Officer, and have a valid requirement may have a copy of the solicitation document. All requests for copies of the solicitation document must include a certified copy of DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement.
