- The Government intends to procure, under only one responsible source and no other suppliers will satisfy agency requirements, the following item: 1. 1200A 15KV Metal-Clad switchgear manufactured by Square D a. Switchgear includes a single section electrical enclosure (914mm wide x 2311mm deep x 2416mm high).b. Houses 1200A Type VR circuit breaker, related relay equipment, and necessary accessory components.c. Factory assembledd. To be used with medium voltage overcurrent protection equipment for new central utility plant. e. Will be attached to existing Square D MasterClad Metal-Clad 1200A 15KV switchgear Factory Order Number 24695733-001. This should not be constued as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government to issue a solicitation. Interested parties with a comparable product meeting the requirements are invited to submit complete information and specifications. Any information provided to the Government in response to this RFI will become U.S. Government property and will not be returned. All proprietary or classified information will be treated appropriately. Interested parties shall submit information and specfications to Ms. Rika Delaunay via email at rika.delaunay@navy.mil. Interested parties responding to this announcement by 20 May 2009 at 4:00 p.m. H.S.T. will be considered.
